Hi! My name is Jamie Morrison and I am your PreK-2^nd grade assistant principal. I have worked as an educator, data analyst, and an educational leader for 20+ years for the Fort Worth Independent School District. I was born in and spent my early years in Dallas, Texas, before moving to Coppell, Texas. I earned my Bachelor of Science degree in Human Development and Family Studies from Texas Tech University in 1998. Shortly after receiving my degree, I joined Fort Worth ISD as a teacher. Ready to spread my wings a bit, I decided to apply for graduate school to earn a Master's degree in educational leadership. In May of 2017, I completed the Aspiring Principal Residency program with Texas Christian University and received my Master of Education degree. I am so thankful to be starting my fourth year as an assistant principal at Waverly Park Elementary School and am proud to be a Waverly Park Tiger. I live in Granbury, Texas, with many extended family members nearby. I enjoy reading, traveling, photography, coffee, learning, hiking, and spending time with family, friends, and my two sweet dogs -- Stewie and Ollie.
