¡Hola!

My students know me as Profe. Perez, and I am a fourth year Spanish teacher at South Hills.

As a native Spanish speaker, sharing the love for my language and culture has become my passion. I was born and raised in Fort Worth, Texas where I attended college at the University of North Texas (Go Mean Green!) and earned my Bachelor's in History.

I love teaching Spanish and I try to bring as much culture into the classroom as possible. I believe that by learning a different language and traditions can make students more cultural appreciative and incorporate that respect into their daily and future lives.

In my free time I enjoy spending time with my family and dogs.

I also love eating chicken nuggets, watching documentaries, going to museums, going to concerts, traveling and making piñatas!
