Konnichiwa! My name is Mikako Daniel. Please call me Mikako sensei.
I was born and raised in Japan - I spent my childhood in Osaka, Tokyo, and Kobe. I received my BA at Kobe Kaisei (Stella Maris) College - I majored in Literature and minored in Education. I moved to Fort Worth in 2003. I am a proud mom of a yellow jacket!
When I'm not teaching, I enjoy reading books, cooking, and playing the piano. My dream is to make a lot of Fort Worthians Japanese speakers so that I can speak only in Japanese :p I am so much looking forward to having you in my Japanese class. I can't wait to get to know you! Konnichiwa! I was born and raised in Shizuoka, Japan, which is known for green tea and beautiful Mt. Fuji. Please call me Saigo Sensei. I have my Bachelor's in Psychology from TCU and Master's in Education from University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire. I love to travel, try different foods, and learn different cultures. I enjoy teaching Japanese because I also get to learn from my students variety of things, such as different cultures, perspectives, and new trends. I look forward to having another great school year with you all! Yoroshiku onegaishimasu.

Konnichiwa! Hajimemashite! My name is Michael Newton, but please call me Mikey sensei. I was born and raised right here in Fort Worth. I received my Bachelor's degree at Baylor University. I majored in film and minored in Japanese. After graduating in 2013 I moved to Nagasaki, Japan and worked as an English teacher for four years. I enjoy traveling, experiencing new cultures, and eating lots of foods from those cultures. This is my first year teaching in the States, so I look forward to learning a lot about my students and sharing my knowledge of the Japanese language and culture with them. Yoroshiku onegaishimasu!
