Welcome to English 4, your senior year English class. This course is designed to bring together all the skills students have built over their years in English and prepare them for what comes next after high school.
We will explore both classic and modern literature, making connections between the texts and real-world experiences. Students will strengthen their reading, writing, speaking, and critical thinking skills, with an emphasis on clear communication and thoughtful expression.

Hi! I’m Ms. Edun, and I’m so excited to be your English 4 teacher this year. I was born in Nigeria and moved to the United States early in life, which gave me a love for different cultures and perspectives.
I graduated from the University of Texas at Arlington with a degree in English Education, and teaching has been my passion ever since. In my class, I want students to feel supported, challenged, and inspired to think critically and express themselves with confidence.
Outside of school, I love traveling and exploring new places. At home, I’m a proud dog mom to Rocks and a Bearded Dragon mom to Wiz. I also enjoy reading, trying creative ideas, and giving back through community service.
I am really looking forward to getting to know each of you as, together, we begin to unwrap the immeasurable treasure of self-discovery. This is, of course, the first step towards empathy!
“My mission in life is not merely to survive, but to thrive; and to do so with some passion, some compassion, some humor, and some style.” – Maya Angelou
Here's to a great year! -- Ms. Edun
