JROTC AT A GLANCE
The Mission of JROTC is to "motivate young people to be better citizens." Participating in JROTC and completing the assigned material in this course will require discipline and hard work, but its rewards re well worth the effort. Through Army JROTC, they are building a foundation that will last a lifetime. Your students are among a special group of high school students headed for success. Their participation as a cadet in this program shows their willingness to make the most of your high school education. Whatever their reasons are for taking the course, every member of the Army JROTC is unique and brings a different cultural dimension to the program. I am very proud that you have elected to have your child a part of the team.

I am very excited for the opportunity to be a part of your students continued success within JROTC. I love to travel, shop and spend time with my family. I served 22 years in the United States Army as a Financial Specialist where I was responsible for financial management duties such as Budgeting, Disbursing and Accounting for Government funds. I made sure vendors were paid, budgets were balanced and financial matters were met so the Army could keep running. I retired in 2018 and was ready to join the JROTC team in educating students on their "after high-school" life skills. I have a Masters in Leadership Studies from the University of Texas at El Paso. I have been Married for 19 years and have a son who is a Junior in High School.
