Mr. Clayborn

Hello Meadowbrook family! We are excited to welcome you back to school! My name is Mr. Clayborn and I will be your Theatre teacher for Theatre 1, 2, and 3!

A little about me: I have a background in Theatre and have a BFA from the University of Houston. I have been lucky enough to perform for both Equity and Non equity Theaters in the Houston area, as well as work for such renowned improvisation groups like ComedySports Houston. I even got the chance to do stunt shows for Six Flags as well as Murder Mystery Shows for Billy Bob's in Fort Worth!

I have been teaching at Meadowbrook Middle School since the 2017/2018 season. In that time it was my pleasure to help students build an After-School Theatre Program, known as M.A.D ( Meadowbrook Afterschool Drama). We have performed such plays as A Midsummer Nights Dream, Audition, and How To Survive a Zombie Apocalypse to great success in our community!

The start of the first semester is always a trying time, but this year has even greater challenges. Theatre may not be your first choice, or it might be something you have always wanted to try. Either way I will do my best to make this experience fun, seamless, and above all else educational!
