All About Me!!
My name is Laura Forney and I have been teaching in FWISD for over 20 years. I taught middle school at Applied Learning Academy and Daggett Montessori. I taught math at Lily B Clayton. This is my 6th year teaching at Alice Carlson and it feels like home.

I was born in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, and moved to Fort Worth in 1996 to attend TCU. I majored in education with an emphasis in math and geology. I have attended Teacher's College at Columbia in NYC for the past several summers. I love learning about teaching reading and writing with teachers from around the globe.

I am married to John, who also is a teacher. I have four daughters. Charlotte, Reagan, Claire and Audrey. We have a dog, Maggie, and 2 cats. Their names are Sammy and Corrie...or Cora...or Corona. She's our pandemic kitten.
