About Me

Hi! This is my 32nd year working in Education. I have a Bachelor of Science Degree in Secondary Education from Texas Christian University. I also have a Master's Degree in Education Administration from Texas Woman's University.

I started my career by teaching middle school science here in Fort Worth Independent School District. I left public education to work at my Alma Mater, TCU, as an Academic Advisor. When I returned to FWISD, I worked as a Secondary Science Specialist. I enjoyed traveling to High Schools helping Science Teachers. However, my love for art led me to become an Art teacher in 2011. This is my fourth year at WLI.

When I am not teaching, I spend time with my family. I have been married for 28 years to my college sweetheart. We have a wonderful son who lives in Austin, Texas. When we are not visiting him, we spend time at home with our beautiful rescue German Shepherd, Ziva.
