Head Director - Mr. Kyle Pressley

Kyle Pressley (KP) is  beyond lucky to be back in his hometown directing the Theatre Program at BMHS. KP was born and raised in Benbrook Texas, attending Westpark Elementary, Leonard and Western Hills High School ,where he developed his love of theatre and musical theatre, performing in UIL One Act Plays and Summer Stock musicals.

After graduating from Western Hills High School he attended the University of Oklahoma, gaining his B.F.A  in musical theatre performance.

After moving to New York City, Mr. Pressley travelled the country and the world as a singer and actor for over five years, from regional equity theatres to cruises on the Pacific ocean. 

He is a proud husband to his amazing wife Mary, and the step father to two wonderful girls Brooke and Kenzie.

Vocal Director - Dr. Emily Saenz

Dr. Emily Saenz is delighted to be a part of the Bobcat Theatre Department.  Dr. Saenz directed West Side Story in the spring of 2022, and was the Music Director and Costume Designer for Guys and Dolls in 2023. Winner of the 2021 "Friedman Chair of Excellence in Teaching" award, Dr. Saenz has led the BMHS choir's to win UIL sweepstakes each year. In addition to her work at Benbrook, Emily spearheads FWISD’s educational partnership with the NY Metropolitan Opera, via the “MET Live in HD Education Program" and writes curriculum for the Met's Educational programming which is used in schools around the world. Emily holds a Bachelor of Music degree in Vocal Performance from the University of Oklahoma, a Master of Music degree in Vocal Performance from the University of Louisville, and a Doctorate of Music Arts degree in Voice from The University of Texas at Austin. In addition to her work as a teacher and conductor, Emily performs both operatic and concert repertoire throughout the DFW metroplex. She lives in Ft. Worth with her husband Carlos and their two children.

Choreographer - Mrs. Stacy Ellison

Mrs. Ellison is a Pilates-loving, schedule hating, dessert enthusiast. Emerald Line coach, and a crazy busy mom of 4. She grew up in beautiful Idaho,  yes , on a potato farm. She loved everything dance growing up. She attended Utah State on a dance scholarship. In that performing group, she met a charismatic singer from Fort Worth, Texas. "He swept me off my feet and dragged me back to Fort Worth as all good Texans do! The rest is history!!" Shout out to my family! Thanks for putting up with all my crazy endeavors. 

Asst. Music Director - Mr. Jacob Brown

Mr. Brown is a first-year teacher but he has been around since last year! He bagan student teaching at BMHS with Dr. Saenz and eventually got the opportunity to stay here at BMHS as the MS Choir Director! "Benbrook felt like home as soon as I got here and I couldn't be happier with where I am!" Mr. Brown graduated with a Bachelor of Music Education degree from Texas Christian University. In addition to teaching, he performs concert and solo repertoire as well as coaches premier club volleyball around the nation. Mr. Brown lives in Fort Worth with his loeable dog, Dexter!
