YOU WILL DO GREAT!

Being new to YWLA and/or entering a new grade level does not have to overwhelm you. You are ready for this beginning. This school start may be different, but you can have many good experiences. Really think about the items below and always keep a growth mindset ( a mentality that you can learn to do well; being victorious is possible with consistent work).

  1. Manage your time well. Keep track of what you need to do.

  2. Think positively.

  3. Make good connections with peers and teachers.

  4. Ask for help.

I look forward to a successful year full of wonderful things about art!

Assignments/Projects

Always keep up with class assignments. You will notice your art grow as you complete your art work with full effort, with the motivation to take risks, and with creativity in mind. Communicate with me. We are working together to ensure your high achievement.
