One full-time PhD position is available in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) at Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology (BUET) funded by ICSETEP RDG sub-project C34. The sub-project titled “Graph Machine Learning and Networks: Theory, Methods, and Applications” is a collaboration between CSE, BUET and the Center for Data-driven Science and Artificial Intelligence, Tohoku University, Japan. The objective is to advance the field of graph machine learning and network sciences through integration of graph neural networks with large language models (LLMs).
Qualifications:
1. M.Sc.Engg. in Computer Science and Engineering
2. Strong background in machine learning/deep learning
3. Research background in LLMs, graph ML, network science or gene networks
4. Programming experience in Python (PyTorch/TensorFlow)
5. Good communication and technical-writing skills in English
Duration of Appointment: 36 months full time
PhD Supervision will be under Dr. Sadia Sharmin (PI)
Salary: 50,000/- (including VAT/TAX).
