LESSON PLANNING TIPS
Lesson Plans are no doubt a teacher's best friend and the most important resource to have before you execute your lessons.Β Here are 6 essential points to keep in my mind when designing your lesson plans.
- Be clear about the learning objective of your lesson
- Know your role as a facilitator in the class
- Always make sure to assess your lesson plan in terms of how efficiently you are able to attain the learning outcome
- Set expectations for the students. Be it resources required or behavioral expectations. Plan it, draft it and share it with the pupils.
- Never forget to explain the use, or application of the lesson in their life. You don't want your students to not know how to use the skills they've gained.
- All's well that end's well, isn't it. So make sure to wrap up the class in an organized way by writing down the review points or conducting a small quiz / activity.
