The Grade 6 program is centered around Teaching Games For Understanding. Our skill rubrics focus on developing the basic fundamental skills required for multiple sports in an engaging, fun environment that allows multiple entry points for all athletes, regardless of skill.

What is TGFU?

Grade 7 skill rubrics focus on developing sport specific, basic and complex skills through progressive drills and modified games.

Grade 8 skill rubrics continue to use progressive drills and modified games to focus on the basic and complex sport specific skills, while adding another element which focuses on implementing strategy through actual game play.
