IMPORTANT DATES FOR THE TOPS ON BLOOR APPLICATION PROCESS

November 28, 2019--Accommodation request for the exam and a copy of supporting documents (Individual Education Plan) are forwarded to Kathleen Craigie .

December 2, 2019 at 4 p.m.--Deadline for registering for the TOPS on Bloor exam.

December 6, 2019—TOPS on Bloor entrance exam 9:00 a.m. Application packages due including Optional Attendance Form.

December 11, 2019— Alternative TOPS on Bloor Entrance Exam originally scheduled for this date was deferred to the following day due to the one day strike that has resulted in the closure of TDSB secondary schools to students.

December 12, 2019--Alternative TOPS on Bloor Entrance Exam begins at 8:30 a.m. All applicants who are writing on the alternative day have been emailed the details of the morning alternative exam. Please contact Kathleen Craigie if you have further questions. This date is for students who have exceptional circumstances such as a medical procedure or illness. Documentation will be required.)

January 31, 2020 --TDSB Optional Attendance form due for Mainstream program (for all students who do not live in the Bloor C.I. catchment area).

February 10, 2020 —TOPS on Bloor applicants notified by regular mail of their acceptance status.

February 14, 2020—Optional Attendance Acceptance Date--Parents/guardians will be informed of acceptance or non-acceptance by this date.

February 28, 2020 ——Student’s current school must forward Course Selection Sheets (Option Sheets) to Bloor CI. For students from outside of the TDSB, it is your responsibility to ensure that the course selection sheet is received by Bloor CI by this date as this is the confirmation of your acceptance to Bloor C.I. for September 2020.

May 28th, 2020 at 5:15 p.m.—Bloor Welcome Event

August 2020 (Date to be announced)—Orientation Day for all incoming grade 9 students

September 8, 2020—Classes begin.
