Child and Youth Workers provide social emotional support to students. We work closely with students and other school staff to ensure all students receive the support they need. This support is often delivered in a way as to best support the individual, social, emotional and academic needs of our learners. We also attend all In School Team (IST) and School Support Team (SST) meetings, as well as small formal and informal one-on-one meetings that often include parents, teachers, administration and students.
