Christina Saunders is a Cree Educator who has been providing the TDSB with leadership and direction from a uniquely Indigenous perspective for many years. Currently an Instructional Leader for the Urban Indigenous Education Centre, Christina has developed and led various professional learning sessions that reduce the knowledge gap on Residential schools, Reconciliation, deconstructing Indigenous stereotypes, working with Urban Indigenous students and centering Indigenous content into the Ontario curriculum, to name a few. Christina also has a strong background in Special Education and Literacy, based on extensive teaching experience, collaboration and ongoing learning. She currently sits on the Elementary Teachers Federation of Ontario's First Nation, Metis and Inuit Education Standing Committee.

Rahim has taught within TDSB and various other countries for over a decade. He currently teaches Senior Business and Cooperative Education courses at John Polanyi Collegiate Institute, and most definitely enjoys providing his students with real life experiences, both within and exterior to the classroom through Social Entrepreneurship and strong Community Partnerships. Rahim has travelled, taught, volunteered and studied in over 25 countries. His experiences included building a school in Nicaragua (2013) with students and teachers, and also competing in Social Entrepreneurial Business competitions in Russia (2014) and South Korea (2015) with phenomenal John Polanyi CI students.
