Geographic Skills

Skills embedded in the Geography Curriculum. A grade 9 perspective.

Students will develop their geographic skills by using tools such ArcGIS Online, Ministry Licensed software, to help better understand their community, country, and the world.

Some students will have an opportunity to compete in the TDSB Skills contest in Geographic Information Systems (G.I.S.) York Mills students have fared well in this competition since 2017.
