1. Stronger Family Engagement: By providing fathers and father figures with tools, resources, and support, we can help them engage more effectively in their child’s education. Increased father involvement positively impacts student motivation, improves behaviour, and academic performance.
2. Supporting Student Well-being: Engaged father figures contribute to a child’s emotional and social development. Our program will encourage open communication, creating a safer and more supportive environment at school and at home.
3. Building Community Connections: The group fosters a sense of belonging and connection among fathers, which leads to a stronger, more cohesive school community. These relationships enhance overall school culture and create a network of support for all families.
4. Inclusive and Accessible: This program is designed to be accessible to all families, regardless of background. It promotes inclusivity, ensuring that fathers AND father figures of diverse cultural, economic, and social backgrounds feel welcomed and supported.
