- supports TDSB initiatives by building a strong sense of community, expanding programming options in music and building partnerships within the TDSB that will further engage students;
- supports school music programs;
- creates learning experiences for teachers and students through rehearsal, performance, and collaboration;
- provides incentives and goals for performing groups and for conductors and
- prepares students and teachers for possible additional performance opportunities within the board.

This free community event celebrates carnival culture through arts such as costuming, dance, drumming and steel pan music. All are invited to join us to enjoy student and professional performers and a series of fun workshops.
