Band

Symphonic band

Our senior band ensemble made up of students in grades 11 and 12. We rehearse Tuesday mornings and Wednesdays after school.

concert band

Our junior band ensemble made up of students in grades 9 and 10. We rehearse Tuesday mornings and Thursdays after school.

jazz band

Students from grades 9 -12 audition to be in this ensemble that performs jazz styled music. Currently the jazz band is not running in 2021/2022.

marching band

One of the only marching bands in the TDSB, our Marching Band is made up of grade 9 - 12 students who perform in parades such as the Markham, Niagara Falls, and Toronto Santa Claus parades. The marching band season is from September to November and we practice Tuesday and Friday mornings.

Percussion ensemble

The percussion ensemble is made up of students in grades 10 - 12 and is led by senior level students. We practice Wednesdays after school.

Beginner Band

NT offers a course for students who have never played a band instrument. These students join our regular stream after just one year as a beginner. What a great opportunity if you haven't had music, or would like a fresh start.
