Journey back in time with us in the Classics Club, where we explore, discuss, and share ideas past and present, from the ancient works of Greek and Roman philosophers, to those more recently found in postmodern literature, and finally, reaching our own conclusions and authentic ideas.

CLIP (Change, Leadership, Inspiration, Positivity): a space for students to come together and make changes towards topics they are passionate about. Aims to raise awareness about topics such as environmental issues, mental health, and equality while also acting towards these topics in a positive way.

A chance to bring together English Language Learners (ESL, International Students, and graduates of the ESL program) for the purpose of personal development, extra-curricular involvement, and developing leadership skills.

A chance to bring together students of Philippine descent for the purpose of fostering personal growth through leadership opportunities. It aims to strengthen their knowledge of Canadian Culture and the Candian education system while maintaining pride in their Filipino heritage.

A chance to give students who are interested a space to work on different filming skills and build portfolios.

A chance to study film, history of film, structures, analysis of characterization, plot, camera angles, music, special effects and other aspects.

The Northharmonix choir is an acapella singing group that performs in school assemblies as well as competitions. They provide a space for music lovers to join forces and be around others with similar interests.

The Phoenix Athletic Council is a club that plans, organizes and executes sports and health related activities around Northview. In the past PAC has organized various events such as spirit weeks, intramurals, healthy eating month, and more! To stay up to date on all PAC events and athletics, join the PAC Communications classroom!

A chance to have a safe space and try physics problems/challenges that extend beyond the classroom curriculum.

A chance to gather students with an interest in robotics and learn about and work with robots. Students will learn about coding, making circuits and learn how to make robots. It will be an opportunity for students to strengthen their leadership skills and collaboration skills. In the future, the club members may also be able to participate in robotics competitions.

A chance to unite students of common interest who are willing and able to form a rock band with the intention of having musical “jamming” sessions in the music room after school.

A chance to provide enrichment for students interested in programming and create a welcoming environment for students new to Northview. The goal is to prepare students for programming competitions while developing thinking and cooperative skills by coding games and a club website. Open to Grade 11 and 12 students.
