Happy Pride Month! The Mowat GSA, formerly known as SASSY, is back! We are focused on advocating for and providing a safe space for 2SLGBTQIA+ individuals at Mowat. Due to COVID-19 lockdowns, we have had a delayed start; however, we have officially reformed just in time for Pride Month. All 2SLGBTQIA+ students and allies are welcome to join! Mowat Music Council (MMC)

We are currently looking forward to our final Music Concert of the school year! It will be held on June 23 at 7:00 p.m. via Zoom Webinar, so be sure to save the date!

MMC is open to any and all music lovers! We often discuss and react to newly-released music, and organize school-wide events such as Cabaret and the biannual Music Concerts. Join our Google Classroom to get the Zoom link for our weekly meetings, and follow our Instagram for musical event updates!

Mowat United Voices (MUV)

This June the MUV is celebrating Pride Month through weekly Instagram posts about the 2SLGBTQIA+ community courtesy of the Mowat GSA and Equity Committee. We have also been teaming up with Wellness to create Support Groups for marginalized students —check out our Instagram posts for more info!

The MUV is a collective of social justice-focused subcommittees working to make our school, community, and world a more equitable, safe, and just place.
