This is a 24/7 e-mental health service offering free, confidential support to young people in English and French. Talk to someone by text (text CONNECT to 686868), phone (1-800-668-6868), or online chat (open 7:00 pm to midnight). Programs and resources are also available online.

The What’s Up Walk-In (WUWI) network is Toronto’s only free, six-day-a-week mental health counselling walk-in service for infants, children, youth, young adults, and families. Therapists offer walk-in, single, solution focused sessions. The service is a collaborative initiative of 6 publicly funded Children and Youth Mental Health agencies that operate 7 sites in the City of Toronto.

The clinics help with issues such as depression, anxiety, self-harm, suicidal ideation, sexual identity matters, bullying, behavioural concerns, addictions, and anything else that might be on one’s mind.

If you are feeling like you have lost hope and are struggling to cope, if you are dealing with thoughts of suicide, or if you are worried about someone else, 9-8-8 is here for you. When you reach out, a trained responder will listen without judgement, provide support and understanding, and can tell you about resources that will help.

This helpline offers immediate help to all Indigenous peoples across Canada. It is available by phone (1-855-242-310) or chat 24/7.

This organization serves as the point of contact to our professional services from youth, families, school districts, and a variety of youth serving stakeholders. Service in French and other languages available upon request.

Naseeha provides people in the Muslim community with the tools needed to address mental health. With our confidential helpline, our youth receives immediate, anonymous, and confidential support over the phone from 12 PM – 3 AM, 7 days a week. With our educational programs, we raise awareness within the community the stigma around mental health.

This organization has volunteers that are trained peer supporters, aged 16-29, coming from a diversity of 2SLGBTQ+ identities and lived experiences. They are not counsellors. They are peers who can relate and have been trained in active listening and relevant knowledge such as anti-oppression, anti-racism, sex and consent, STIs, HIV, self-care, and more.
