Some of us learn best from hands-on, real world experiences. Where we may understand a real-life application, we might need help to transfer that learning and understanding into new and different places. While virtual learning environments aren't theoretically hands-on, they are a place where practical application of knowledge and concepts exist. What's often nice is that demonstrations, activities or interviews are videotaped, so a student can watch it over and over again, while increasing their understanding of a concept or idea.
Many organizations and destination have ways to visit and enjoy their content for learning. Currently under construction.
