Exam Schedule

Please read carefully:

1.  Attendance at all examinations is compulsory.

2. Know your examination schedule and be on time.

3. Exams begin promptly at 9:00am or 1:00pm. If later than 15 minutes, go to the main office.

4. Students are reminded that on the day of the exam, the teacher in the room may not be their subject teacher. However, their classroom teacher will be available to answer subject related questions.

5. Jackets, backpacks, personal electronic devices (i.e. cell phones/iPhones/iPods, electronic translators, smartphones etc.) are not allowed in the exam room. These items should be stored appropriately, either at the front of the class or in your locker and must be turned OFF completely.

6. Teachers will direct students on the use of calculators and/or dictionaries during the exam. Resources (i.e. calculators, pencils/pens, erasers, paper,

7. bilingual dictionaries, etc.) may not be shared with another student during an exam.

8. Bring your textbook to your examination so it can be returned to your teacher.

9. During the exam, communication is only allowed between student and teacher.

10. Upon receiving your exam, verify that you have all the correct pages. Write your name on each page and number your pages.

11. No student will be allowed to leave an examination until after 1 hour of the exam has passed.

12. Students must leave the building quickly and quietly when the examination is completed. Please be considerate of students who may still be writing their exams in other classrooms as you leave your exam room.

13. Students are expected to leave school property once they have completed their exams unless they have a pre-arranged meeting with a staff member or are in need of a quiet place to study.
