The Vanier Auxiliary Volunteers Team may be just the thing for you! 

Here’s the job description:

Vanier Auxiliary Volunteer Team (unlimited positions)

• Vanier Auxiliary Volunteers are associated with, but are not official members of Student Council, and therefore are NOT required to attend weekly SAC meetings.

• Instead, Vanier Auxiliary Volunteers are an on-call group of volunteers: they will receive Google Classroom notifications from Ms. Manji( and sometimes other staff) about occasional volunteer opportunities (eg. Caregiver Interviews, Caravan, VIBE)  and have a chance to sign up for them (first come, first served). 

• Once a Vanier Auxiliary Volunteers member signs up to help at an event, they are expected  to:

• Attend any meetings prior to the event as directed

• Be present at the event- on time! 

• Follow directions of staff and student leaders at the event

• Be a friendly, helpful, and supportive member of the event team

• See the staff supervisor of the event once it is over to get volunteer hours signed for.

Opportunities for volunteering will be posted occasionally to the Google Classroom with a sign up form. The spots for these opportunities will be filled on a first-come-first-served basis.
