Program Guidelines

MaST Certificate

Students in the MaST program can earn either a MaST Certificate OR an Honours MaST Certificate.

The MaST Certificate requires completion of 12 package courses and five optional courses.
The Honours MaST Certificate includes the same requirements but also requires an average of over 80% in senior package courses and four optional Grade 11 and 12 courses in Science, Math and/or Technology

Package Courses:

MaST has 12 required courses that all students must complete in Grades 9, 10, and 11.
Each MaST course code ends with 'P'.
Students can customize these courses to fit their chosen pathway.

Optional Courses:

All students must take 5 optional courses in areas of science, math, and technology to earn their MaST certificate.
These optional courses enable students to personalize their MaST experience based on their interests.
