Attention incoming Grade 9s! Head Start to High School is on Wednesday August 27th @ 8:45am (meet in the Auditorium)
Every student deserves the opportunity to succeed. Our team works together to support our students as they navigate their way through high school. The Student Success department provides in class support for the core academic pathway courses, implements school wide credit rescue initiatives, monitors student progress, provides Homework Help at lunchtime and after school, and connects students with various opportunities in pursuit of their OSSD.
Do you need one additional credit? Have you ever wondered what life on a college campus is like?

Credit Rescue involves the classroom teacher and/or Student Success Teacher. It offers students additional opportunities to complete work that has not been completed. Danforth runs "Level Up" Days once per month where students get the chance to catch-up on missing work, conference with the teacher, review notetaking strategies, organize their notes, work on enrichment activities and receive extra support.
Credit Recovery is a Student Success initiative that enables students to continue their learning and work towards earning a credit in a course that they have previously attempted. Students must have been unsuccessful in two or more courses to be eligible for Credit Recovery during the school year
