CLU3M and CLN4U (Mr Jefferies) - The Superior Court
Each semester, Richview grade 11 and 12 law students spend a day at the Superior Court of Justice, where they participate in a Q/A session with both Crown and criminal defence lawyers as well as a judge. Students ask some excellent questions and gain valuable insight into the legal profession.
Students are also able to sit in on various ongoing criminal trials ranging from first degree murder, attempted murder, drug and weapons related offences. Just recently, some were lucky enough to hear closing arguments in the Puddicombe "Faint Hope Clause" hearing!
HFA4U (Ms Manitaros) - Bell Studios - "The Good Stuff" with Mary Burg
Our grade 12 HFA4U Nutrition and Health students spent a morning on the set of “The Good Stuff With Mary Berg”. Mary Berg is a Canadian TV host, chef, cookbook author and the winner of MasterChef Canada season 3.
Our students had an interactive experience with a special Earth Day themed episode! They had the opportunity to try delicious Coconut Dahl, helped showcase eco-friendly fashion and skincare, and engaged with a nutritionist, debunking health myths!
