Archery's techniques, in its barest bones, is the simple draw back and release of the bow string with the arrows attached.
The below will include more details on how to aim, release, and not harm yourself in the process:
1) Safety considerations:
It is important to keep in mind that all sports have the potential to harm, so safety will be our top priority when it comes to archery.
Do NOT aim your arrow at another person
Tie your hair back (in case it gets caught by the string)
Wear safety gears if needed (there are a limited few that damages their lower arm when releasing the string. In order for it to be less painful, a guard is recommended).
Lastly, please listen to the supervisers and veterans, as they have more experience on how NOT to cause trouble.
2) Draw, aim, and release:
This is a rough information, refer to advice in person for more details:)
Draw the bow back by putting your fingers (Personal experience: anything ranging from 2 - 5 finger works) on the bowstring (not the arrow), to a position where you are comfortable keeping for at least 1 or 2 seconds.
Line up the arrow with the target (this will be easier with more tries, you will find your own way of aiming eventually).
Release the fingers, try not to pull back while you're releasing, as that is hard to make consistant, and requires more stamina.
