The Tri-Center Livestock Production Facility was established in 2020, and over 20 community sponsors funded the project. The facility is fully student-run under adult supervision and operates with cattle, goats, swine, and chickens. The overall goal of the barn is to be operational, educational, and profitable.
Meet The Team!
Joanna Cook is our Goat Specialist! She is responsible for all final goat decisions including health, shelter, reproduction, purchase, and sale. She works with the goats to halter train them and manage their living environment.
Kayleigh Crozier is our Herdsmanship Specialist! She gives attention to the small details of cleanliness of our barn and keeps us honest on our decisions.
Addison Zacharias is our Chicken Specialist! Her responsibilities include making final decisions on chicken purchases, care, and processing. She is responsible for their safety and feed needs as well!
Maura Jenson is our Facilities Specialist! Her responsibilities include documenting all decisions and meetings for the Barn Management Team. She keeps records of our livestock and our sales as well.
Hadyn Ausdemore is our Teamwork Specialist! She is responsible for making sure the team is listening to each other during meetings and helping all team members in their duties. She is the glue that holds us together!!
Talan VanArsdol is our Large Animal Specialist! His responsibilities include making sure that our cattle and pigs are cared for, healthy and in their pens. Meaning he makes sure gates and doors are sturdy and closed feed and hay are present, and water is operational.
Tucker Olsen is our Finance and Marketing Specialist! His responsibilities include keeping track of purchases and sales. He also works with livestock managers to make decisions on sales of processed or live animals.
Chazz Leaders is our Feed and Manure Specialist! His responsibilities include monitoring feed supply, making sure all animals have access to clean water, managing indoor pens cleanliness, and pasture management.
