Teacher Bio

I have been an active member of PFE for 17 years.  I began my journey when my oldest was in kindergarten and was a parent volunteer and ROPE member.  After 9 years of volunteering, I became a Teacher Assistant.  I loved helping all the teachers but quickly realized that I wanted my own class!  I started graduate school in 2021 and graduated in 2023 and have been in the classroom on my own since January 2023.  I love each and every student that walks in my room and my goal is to make my classroom a comfortable and loving environment to help all succeed.  

I am a native of Brevard NC and have been married to my best friend for 27 years.  We have two sons, one in college, one a 10th grader at BHS.  Spending time together watching Gator football and basketball and cooking in the kitchen are our favorite past times!
