“Literacy in itself is no education. Literacy is not the end of education or even the beginning. By education I mean an all-round drawing out of the best in the child and man-body, mind and spirit.” “True education must correspond to the surrounding circumstances or it is not a healthy growth.” - Mahatma Gandhi

Teacher Bio
Hi, my name is Ms. Theresa and I am the PreK Teacher. Working alongside my two Instructional Teachers we work on helping the younger children get ready for kindergarten and get comfortable with the school setting :).
I have worked in Early Education for over 18 years, with 10 years of that working for the county. This is my second year at Pisgah Forest Elementary and I am looking forward to another exciting year.
Welcome to My Class!
We use HighScope Curriculum in our classroom. This curriculum provides a rich academic foundation while promoting independence, decision making, cooperation, creativity, and problem solving in young children.
