Dr. Seuss is known for saying, “To the world, you may be one person; but to one person, you may be the world”... and it is with that in mind that I begin each day as the Preschool Coordinator for TCS working to make a difference in the lives of children, parents, and educators.
I am a native of Transylvania County. I have had the pleasure of teaching across several different grade levels, meeting children where they are in all circumstances and growing them as far as they could go. I have also enjoyed supporting staff and teachers in various ways.
I am proud of Transylvania County Schools for embracing the increasing need for Early Childhood Education opportunities and opening inclusive classrooms in all 4 elementary schools.
In addition to being a coordinator and teacher, I am also a wife, and a mom to three active teenage boys. In our down time, we enjoy campfires, kayaking, and movie and game nights.
