Class Descriptions

Occupational Course of Study:

  • This curriculum is intended for students who need a modified curriculum to meet their individual learning styles in order to obtain a High School Diploma. Students in this program still take the basic requirements of English 9-12, Math I, American History I & II, Biology and Health & PE, but all of these are modified to an level for their understanding. Along with the basic classes, students are required to take Intro to Math I, Financial Management, Applied Science, and various Electives. Students are also required to take 4 levels of Occupational Prep and obtain a cumulative of 600+ work hours, whether through in-school, volunteer, or paid employment activities. These work hours prepare the student to be Career ready and have 21st-century skills needed for life after high school.


Inclusion classes

  • This class is where I go into the regular classroom and support the regular education teacher. This support could be through co-teaching, providing testing services, or providing support for students not labeled EC that need extra help.
