My Bio

I came to Western North Carolina from Cincinnati, Ohio to attend Brevard College in 2004. After graduating in 2008 with an Integrated Studies degree, I pursued my educational career with Transylvania County Schools. I soon expanded my certification to  teach in the Exceptional Children's field. I taught for four and a half years before taking a five-year leave to raise my twins. In the fall of 2019, I joined the wonderful community of Rosman. I am proud to be a Tiger! 

My husband and I met at Brevard College and we have been married since 2012. Our twins, a son named Liam and a daughter named Hazel, were born in 2014. We spend every spring and summer (and some fall) day we can canoeing the French Broad River right here in Rosman, hiking in Pisgah National Forest, or spending time with family and friends. I love listening to music, camping, arranging flowers and gardening.
