Mr. Durant, Library Media Specialist
Mr. Durant joined Rosman Middle and High Schools in 2024 after serving as the Library Media Specialist at Brevard High School from 2011 through 2022. He spent seven years in Henderson County Public Schools before that, and has also worked in the Local History Room at the Transylvania County Library, spent a year at the NC School of Science and Math helping to launch their AI program, and has worked as a research and curriculum contractor for a number of different Ed Tech organizations. Mr. Durant received a Bachelor of Arts from Appalachian State and completed his Master of Library Science at East Carolina University. Prior to becoming an educator, Mr. Durant served as an infantry officer in the United States Army.
