Originally from New Jersey, but raised in Orlando, I moved to Brevard 20 years ago to get closer to the beautiful Blue Ridge Mountains.  Before landing at Transylvania County Schools, I worked with school age youth with the nonprofit Communities In Schools as a Program Director for middle school students in our county.  I have also had several different positions ranging from Art Director to Program Director in various camps in the county. I love to spend my free time kayaking & hiking in our beautiful backyard, Pisgah National Forest.
