I was raised in Pisgah Forest, NC, and attended Pisgah Forest Elementary, Brevard Middle, and Brevard High. I then earned my Associate of Science from Blue Ridge Community College, and then went to Mars Hill University where I earned my Bachelor of Social Work.
When I am not at school, I enjoy walking the trails in WNC or reading.

If students would like to meet with me, I encourage them to fill out an Appointment Request form! These meetings can consist of discussing class options at BRCC, brainstorming career options, offering support during times of crisis, or check-ins.
The Career Coach from Blue Ridge Community College is at Davidson River on Thursdays. If a student would like to meet with Walt Fletcher, they need to let me know so I can schedule an appointment.
