Teacher Bio

I love reading, cooking, traveling, watching movies, and caring for my many plants—both at home and in the classroom. 🌱

I attended schools in the Guilford County Public School System, where I had gfted teachers who encouraged me to pursue my goals and develop a love for learning.

This is my 10th year in education. I began in 2015 as a K–5 afterschool and summer camp leader in Greensboro, NC. While earning my bachelor’s degree at Appalachian State University, I also worked as a preschool teacher in Blowing Rock, NC.

This is now my 5th year teaching kindergarten at RES, and working with young children reminds me every day that we are truly lifelong learners.
