Teacher Bio

In my spare time, I love reading, cooking, traveling, hiking, watching movies, and tending to my many plants—both at home and in the classroom. 🌱

I am a proud product of the North Carolina Public School system and attended many wonderful schools in Guilford County. I was fortunate to have gifted educators who continuously inspired me to reach for my goals and aspirations.

This is my 10th year teaching! I began my journey in 2015 as a K–5th grade afterschool/ summer camp leader in Greensboro, NC. While earning my Bachelor’s degree at App State, I also worked as a NCECC preschool teacher in Blowing Rock, NC. This is now my 5th year working with kindergarten here at RES. Each new experience working with young children reminds me that educators are truly lifelong learners.
