Teacher Bio

I'm so excited for another great year at Pisgah Forest Elementary!  I'm originally from Alabama, but I moved to Brevard in 2022.   I've been teaching for the past 7 years, with 6 years of experience in first grade.  My goal is for my first grade students to love school and love learning!   

Outside of teaching, I love spending time outdoors, which is what drew me to this area.  I enjoy trail running, mountain biking, and rock climbing.  At home I enjoy sewing and doing crafts.  I also have a sweet cat named Chico!
