While these resources are fantastic ways to practice skills, please remember that children in Kindergarten learn through play far faster than they do through screen time. Here are some "old school" ways to practice skills:

  • Write sight words with chalk outside

  • Use bathtub crayons to write and draw

  • Write in shaving cream

  • Use playdoh to make shapes

  • Count any objects around the house (cereal, furniture, drawers, etc.)

  • Go on a shape or number hunt.

  • Find objects that begin with a certain sound

  • Sing songs together
