Professional Summary

Mrs. Katrina D. Ronneburger

My name is Katrina (Mrs. Ron) and I teach Digital Media / Graphic Design. This is my eleventh year teaching at Brevard High School. I grew up in Brevard and I am a proud graduate of BHS - class of ’84. I received my associates degree from Lees-McRae in '86. I went on to graduate from Appalachian State University in 1989 with a degree in graphic design. I worked in Charlotte NC for 16 years as an animator and graphic designer.

I moved back to Brevard to raise my children and be closer to family. Digital Media is a course designed to educate students on the ever-changing digital world, as well as to provide hands-on experience with industry standard software and equipment. The curriculum covers a wide range of areas, so it appeals to a diverse group of students. Topics covered in Digital Media classes include graphic design, animation, audio production, video production, and web design.
