Educator Bio

¡Hola todos! I am Kathy Butler. I grew up in Northeast Mississippi where I began my teaching career in 1996. We moved to North Carolina in 2000 where I taught middle school Spanish with the Charlotte-Mecklenburg School District.

I also became a R.N. in 2007 and practiced nursing for over eleven years. After many years of lovely trips to Brevard and the mountains of WNC, we were thrilled to move here in 2018 when I began teaching at Rosman High and Rosman Middle School. 

I am married to my wonderful husband of 30 years, Wayne, with two step-children and five grandchildren.
