Hi, I am Karen Brown and I am a First Grade Teacher. I have educated children in grades K-4 and served as a reading specialist. I enjoy reading, family time and gardening. I look forward to working with your child this year!!!

Welcome to My Class!
In first grade we will learn about lots of letter sounds, spellings, and how to use them. We will read to comprehend and answer many different types of questions. In math, we will count and manipulate numbers through 150. We will continue to explore measurement, geometry, time, money, and fractions.
