Teacher Bio

I have been teaching elementary for 11 years. I enjoy teaching 5th grade, and have a passion for Science and Mathematics.

I have very high expectations of my students and firmly believe that all students can succeed with support.

In my free time I enjoy mountain biking, woodworking, hiking with my dog Nova, and coding/programming projects.

Welcome to My Class!

In my class, we do a lot of project-based learning. We enjoy working in cooperative learning groups and I enjoy challenging my students. I find that students learn best when exposed to multiple learning styles and S.T.E.A.M. - type activities. Please reach out if you have any questions or concerns.
