Care and Storage:
Your choir dress is your responsibility throughout the school year.
Keep the dress home and return it after the final performance of the school year.
Maintenance:
Ensure the dress remains clean and properly hung on a plastic hanger in a dress bag in your closet until needed.
Cleaning Guidelines:
The dresses are machine washable.
Follow these washing instructions:
Wash the dress alone (do not mix with other clothing).
Use a gentle cycle with cold water.
Use very limited regular detergent, NO bleach.
Drying Process:
Dry the dress in the dryer on medium heat for 10-15 minutes.
Remove the dress while still damp and immediately hang it on a plastic hanger.
The dress should dry wrinkle-free.
Caution: NEVER IRON your dress.
Shoes:
Students should wear plain black flats, short (1.5" or less) heels or low platform, depending on their comfort, preference, and dress length.
Too high/low might require additional alterations to the dress to ensure common length with ensemble.
