Educator Bio
After graduating high school in 2008, Mr. Montgomery attended North Central Michigan college in Petoskey, Michigan for two years. Mr. Montgomery transferred to Grand Valley State University to finish his teaching and mathematics degree and graduated in 2013. He moved to Brevard, North Carolina that following summer and has taught at Rosman High School since. Along with two dogs, Mr. Montgomery and his wife have two sons, Asher and Levi. Mr. Montgomery enjoys going on long runs in the scenic trails of Western North Carolina.

In his seven years of teaching, Mr. Montgomery has taught every course of mathematics offered in the state of North Carolina. Mr. Montgomery enjoys working with students to enrich the mathematical experience and instill the values of a mathematics education along with the career success it can bring.
