I spent two years abroad teaching middle school in the Middle East, and now I am so happy to be back home teaching fourth grade at RES!
Outside of the classroom, I enjoy reading, writing, and playing music at local gigs around town.

I am excited to be building up the next generation of students at Rosman Elementary and pouring into my community!
I hope to instill a love for reading in my students through reading novels together as a class, and I hope to instill a love for writing through creative writing workshops.
I also want to spark their curiosity and appreciation of the scientific, natural world of Western North Carolina and the amazing flora and fauna it includes.
My goal is to inspire a genuine love for learning in my students.
