Teacher Bio

I have been in education since 2003. Beginning as an environmental educator and moving forward to earn a masters in special education and reading add-on certification.  I worked in Buncombe county for 9 years in Title I as a reading specialist. After moving away from NC for a short interval we decided to settle back in WNC in Transylvania county in 2017, which has been a wonderful choice for our family. While here I completed my Orton-Gillingham training and became certified through the Academic Language Therapy Association.
